Aimée's stays

Pictured with Aimee’s Petticoat.

A historical reproduction of a 1700’s stay, or ‘corset’, it is made from a decadent cream silk brocade and lined and edged with a cotton sateen. It features bronze eyelets at the back, and on the adjustable shoulder straps which tie with ribbon. These stays are designed to give a classic 1700’s silhouette; flatten and push up the bust, and create a dramatic triangular torso-waistline. The split ‘hem’ allows for numerous layers of petticoats. Only flat steel boning was used in the construction of these stays.
