Glamorous Housewife

Inspired by the fashions of the 1950’s this ‘housewife’ dress is made from 100% cotton print fabric in a vibrant red and black floral pattern. The front of the dress is black, and wraps around to the back and attaches with a hook and eye clasp, whilst the floral fabric wraps around from the fitted back and does up with an elaborate frog clasp at the front under the bust. With a full circle skirt attached to the torso of the dress, it’ll surely take you back to the swinging fifties. A decorative trim around the skirt connects the floral fabric with the black hem.
